Description
In partnership with Jazz North and funded by Pro Helvetia and Arts Council England
Match&Fuse is back at Marsden Jazz Festival with a stonking double bill of European sounds! Stirring up the Pennines this year: Täpp (UK) and The Great Harry Hillman (CH).
Täpp are a Mancunian experimental string duo creating music without limits. Featuring Rebekah Reid (violin) and Polly Virr (cello), they are Jazz North Northern Line Artists 2018-2019.
The Great Harry Hillman weave jazz, rock and improv into sonic webs of indefinable beauty – played by four thoughtful musicians who are more than capable of rocking out when they feel like it.
The bands will perform individually and together – in true Match&Fuse spirit.
