Founded in 1992, Marsden Jazz Festival is one of the UK's longest established Jazz Festivals.

A Varied Programme

We seek to bring a wide variety of music from old school trad jazz to cutting-edge contemporary jazz to an audience of all ages.

Good Music For All

We have always aimed to bring as much music as possible to festival audiences free-of-charge - around three quarters of our gigs have no admission charge - and to encourage participation by a new generation of jazz musicians by involving school and college bands in the festival.

How Can We Make So Many gigs Free of Charge?

We are supported by sponsorship, grant funding and - last but probably most - the Pubs & Clubs of Marsden - please support them in the traditional way!
